Here are a couple of paintings I did from drawing lessons on http://www.drawspace.com/ This is a great site for people who want to learn about drawing and art. A good way to get you started. So much to learn on this site. It's awesome.

Just finished another watercolor "The Cherry Blossom Branch"
Here is a painting I just completed! It's a watercolor painting of Cherry Blossoms. My wife has been asking me to paint this for some time now and today I finally finished it. I've attached a picture of when I just finished the background and then a pic of the finished painting.
Cheers!

The Plan
So after a great deal of thought I've decided to approach my first project like this... I'm going to start a painting, yet to be determined, in a start to finish process. My plan is to take photos of the project as I progress from a blank sheet to a finished painting. I'll also comment the progress as I go. The real challenge now is to figure out what I'm going to paint. I'm open to suggestions!!??
Cheers!

Introductions!
Well I guess I should start out by introducing myself! Hi! I'm Steve. I created this Blog to document my journey on becoming a better artist! What kind of artist? Well mostly painting and drawing!
My preferred medium is watercolor or watercolour if your Canadian! I also enjoy sketching with pencils because of the textures and shading, I feel it gives the sketch a more realistic look. I have a page created on Facebook"steve luff creative", that includes my current work.
I'm going to start posting any new work I create on this blog and I plan to include some comments on what inspired me to paint or draw it.
Hopefully I'll find some followers along the way that will like to comment, critic, and inspire me to become a better artist.
LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN!!
Now the first thing I need to do is go paint something! Any ideas?
Cheers!
